This is a summary of the development on phase 1.5.

Testing electronic components

With the main eletronic components in hands, tests were made individually on each component as well collectively to verify that everything is working as expected.

Assembling turnstile structure

With the mechanical design done and the MDF purchased, the main structure began to be built. Most of the the parts consists of flat MDF pieces screwd togheter using supporting wood pieces.

Electronic logic schematic and connection board design

Starting from the high-level schematic, the electronic schematic was developed, as well as the design of a connection board that will accommodate some of the components.

Firmware Class Diagram Design

Using the PlantUML, a tool to render UML diagrams, the first version of the class diagram was made thinking about the libraries and features we needed when testing the components.
